Brent Kauffman, owner of Rock Proof Boats, answered the call to build a boat for River Rescue that could take some punishment while performing rescues in the rock infested rivers.

The boat was custom-built with several unique features which enable the River Rescue folks to perform their job at the highest level possible in order to save lives, when the call for duty is needed. The custom boat hull is constructed from one piece of tempered aluminum (0.190" bottom) that is sheeted with 1/2" UHMW plastic, which gives the boat the ability to just slide across rocks.
